This quick and easy honey mustard sauce uses pantry staples to create a versatile condiment. It’s the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and creamy, ideal for glazing, dipping, or dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey. Whisk until completely smooth and uniform.
  2. Whisk in the apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if desired, adding more honey for sweetness or more mustard for tang.
  5. For best results, let the sauce rest for 15-20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Stir again before use.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 7-10 days. For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the mayonnaise. For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
