Grilled peaches with a pinch of salt caramelize to perfection, paired with cool honey vanilla yogurt. This quick summer dessert is healthy, elegant, and ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (avocado or grapeseed)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt for the peaches
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full fat works best)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: toasted almonds, granola, fresh mint, or a drizzle of balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Wash peaches gently, cut in half around the pit, twist to separate, and remove pit. Brush cut sides lightly with oil and sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea salt.
  2. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Place peaches cut side down on grates. Cook undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until tender but still holding shape.
  3. While peaches grill, stir together Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  4. Place a generous scoop of honey vanilla yogurt in a bowl or plate. Arrange two warm peach halves on top. Drizzle any juices from grilling over everything. Add optional toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose peaches that are ripe but still firm to avoid mushiness on the grill. The pinch of salt on the cut side enhances sweetness without making the fruit salty. For dairy free, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup instead of honey. For best texture, serve immediately after assembling.
