Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the oats, chia seeds, and salt in a jar or container with a lid.
  2. Add the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir all ingredients together very well until no dry patches remain.
  4. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  5. Stir before serving and add your favorite toppings if desired.

Notes

For best texture, use old-fashioned rolled oats, not quick or steel-cut. The oats will keep in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. Adjust sweetness to taste and customize with fruits, nuts, or spices.
