A vibrant, non-alcoholic drink perfect for celebrations. Fresh blood orange juice and frozen berries create a stunning crimson color and tangy-sweet flavor, topped with sparkling water for a festive fizz. It’s a simple yet special way to toast any moment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blood orange juice (from 2-3 large blood oranges)
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup (optional)
  • For garnish: fresh rosemary sprigs, blood orange slices, fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit base. In each serving glass, add a generous handful of frozen mixed berries. Gently muddle a few berries at the bottom with the back of a spoon to release their juice.
  2. Add the citrus. Pour 1/2 cup of fresh blood orange juice into each glass. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice to each.
  3. Sweeten if desired. Taste the mixture. If a sweeter drink is preferred, add 1 tablespoon of simple syrup to each glass and stir gently.
  4. Top with sparkle. Slowly pour 1/2 cup of sparkling water or club soda down the side of each glass until nearly full to preserve the bubbles.
  5. Garnish and serve. Immediately garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig, a blood orange slice, or fresh raspberries. Serve right away.

Notes

For a pitcher: Mix all ingredients except sparkling water ahead of time. Add sparkling water just before serving. If blood oranges are unavailable, use regular orange juice with a tablespoon of pomegranate juice or muddled raspberries for color.
