Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup crispy croutons, lightly crushed (optional)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through and golden. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes, then slice into thin strips.
  3. While chicken rests, chop romaine, grate Parmesan, and warm tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for 15-20 seconds to make pliable.
  4. Lay a warm tortilla flat. Spread about 2 tablespoons of Caesar dressing down the center, leaving a 2-inch border at top and bottom.
  5. Layer with romaine, sliced chicken, Parmesan, and optional croutons or bacon. Drizzle with extra dressing if desired.
  6. Fold sides of tortilla in over filling. Starting from bottom, roll up tightly, tucking filling in as you go. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  7. For serving, slice each wrap in half on a sharp diagonal.

Notes

For best results, ensure lettuce is completely dry to prevent a soggy tortilla. Letting the chicken rest before slicing keeps it juicy. Store components separately for meal prep; assemble just before eating.
