A bright, no-cook breakfast that feels like a hug in a jar. This is the perfect blend of creamy, chewy oats and sweet-tart berries that burst with flavor, delivering comfort and energy in every spoonful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup mixed fresh or frozen berries (like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), divided

Instructions

  1. In a 16-ounce jar or sealable container, stir together the rolled oats and chia seeds.
  2. Add the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Seal the jar with a lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, or stir very well with a spoon until no dry spots remain.
  4. Gently fold in about half of the mixed berries.
  5. Secure the lid and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or ideally overnight.
  6. The next morning, stir the oats. Top with the remaining fresh berries and any additional desired toppings before serving.

Notes

For best texture, use old-fashioned rolled oats, not quick or steel-cut. Mix thoroughly to avoid dry oats at the bottom. Store sealed in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For a dairy-free version, use plant-based milk and yogurt.
