A bright and creamy smoothie that combines sweet strawberries with tangy lemonade flavor. Prepared in advance and frozen in individual jars, it’s the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 large lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if desired.
  3. Divide the smoothie mixture evenly among 3-4 freezer-safe jars or bottles with tight-fitting lids. Leave about 1/2 inch of space at the top for expansion.
  4. Seal the jars tightly and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. To serve, transfer a jar from the freezer to the refrigerator the night before. It will be thawed and ready to drink by morning. Give it a shake or stir before enjoying.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie bowl, do not thaw completely and serve with toppings like granola and fresh fruit. Use only frozen strawberries for the best texture. If you forget to thaw overnight, let the jar sit at room temperature for 30-45 minutes.
