Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles, divided (optional)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of a 2 to 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. In the slow cooker, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce. Stir to begin combining.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and half of the blue cheese crumbles (if using). Mix until well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until the dip is hot, bubbly at the edges, and completely smooth.
  5. Stir the dip, then top with the remaining blue cheese crumbles and sliced green onions. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use softened cream cheese and cook on LOW to prevent the dairy from separating. The dip can be kept warm in the slow cooker for serving. Adjust buffalo sauce amount to control spice level.
