A thick, frosty smoothie that tastes like a classic lemonade stand in a glass. This quick blend of frozen strawberries, fresh lemon, and creamy yogurt is a perfect, refreshing treat for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 1-2 large lemons)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup cold water or milk (almond, oat, or dairy)

Instructions

  1. Roll lemon on counter to release juice, then juice to measure 1/4 cup.
  2. Add frozen strawberries, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla, and 1/2 cup cold water or milk to blender.
  3. Blend on low, then high for 45-60 seconds until smooth. Add more liquid if too thick.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if desired.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For best texture, use frozen strawberries. Fresh lemon juice is essential. For dairy-free, use coconut yogurt. Add a handful of spinach for a hidden nutrient boost.
