Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 small wheel Brie or Camembert, room temperature
  • 1 log creamy goat cheese
  • 1 block sharp white cheddar, cubed
  • 4-6 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 4-6 oz hard salami, sliced
  • 4-6 oz spicy coppa or soppressata (optional)
  • 1 baguette, sliced and lightly toasted
  • 1 handful plain water crackers
  • 1 cup Marcona almonds or toasted pecans
  • 1/2 cup honey or fig jam
  • 1 small bunch fresh basil or mint
  • 1 drizzle high-quality olive oil
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place cheeses on board first as anchors. Position brie, goat cheese log, and cheddar cubes in separate areas.
  2. Arrange sliced meats in loose piles or rosettes around the cheeses.
  3. Add berries in generous mounds, tucking them into gaps between other components.
  4. Fill remaining spaces with toasted baguette slices, crackers, and nuts.
  5. Drizzle honey or spoon fig jam over soft cheeses. Garnish with fresh herbs, a drizzle of olive oil, and a crack of black pepper.

Notes

Let soft cheeses come to room temperature before serving for best flavor and texture. Assemble just before serving to keep crackers crisp. Components can be prepped separately hours ahead.
