A creamy, salty feta dip swirled with spicy-sweet honey. Ready in minutes, it’s the perfect blend of tangy, spicy, and sweet for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces block feta cheese, drained
  • 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of half a lemon
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the feta, cream cheese, yogurt, 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and black pepper to a food processor.
  2. Process until completely smooth and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides once.
  3. While processing, make the hot honey. Combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan.
  4. Warm over low heat for 1-2 minutes until fluid and infused. Do not boil. Remove from heat and stir in flaky salt.
  5. Spoon the whipped feta into a serving bowl and create swirls with the back of a spoon.
  6. Drizzle the warm hot honey generously over the dip. Finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil and more black pepper.

Notes

For best texture, use a block of feta in brine, not pre-crumbled. The hot honey can be made ahead and stored at room temperature. Adjust red pepper flakes to control spice level.
