These golden and crunchy strips are made from tortillas and are well-known for their ability to be used in various ways. - Tortillas 6-8 tortillas (corn or flour, based on the preference you have)
- Oil 2-to-3 tablespoons of canola or vegetable oils or olive oil for frying or baking
- Salt 1 teaspoon (adjust according to your preference)

- Half a teaspoon of powdered garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder ground
- 1 teaspoon of paprika (or smoked paprika to get an even more intense flavor)

Instructions
- Prepare the oven by heating it to 350degF (190degC) in the case of baking tortilla chips. If you prefer to fry them, cook your oil inside a large skillet at a moderate temperature.
- Preparing the tortillas: Then stack the tortillas and cut them into strips. The width of the strips will depend on the size you prefer, but they’re usually about half an inch in width.
- The strips should be seasoned. The strip of tortillas should be in a bowl, then toss them in the oil, ensuring they are coated evenly. Sprinkle salt and any other spices you like. Mix thoroughly.
- Baking choice: Place your crunchy tortilla slices in one layer on baking sheets. Bake for about 10 minutes, flipping the sheets halfway through till golden and crisp. Frying Option to fry: Heat the oil in a skillet at medium-high temperature. Add the tortilla chips in small portions and fry for a couple of minutes until they become brown and crispy. Then drain them on a paper towel.
