Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping, plus more for garnish
  • Pinch of salt
  • Suggested dippers: Graham crackers, sliced apples, ginger snaps, vanilla wafers, cinnamon pita chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy, about 1–2 minutes.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until fully combined and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping with a rubber spatula until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for 30 minutes (optional, but recommended).
  5. Garnish with extra whipped topping, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and crushed graham crackers. Serve with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture. For homemade pumpkin pie spice, combine cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. This dip can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
