This incredibly easy 3-ingredient Cream Cheese Salsa Dip is the ultimate party lifesaver. Ready in just 5 minutes with no cooking required, it’s the perfect no-bake appetizer for game day, potlucks, or unexpected guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup your favorite salsa (mild, medium, or hot based on preference)
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • Optional garnishes: chopped fresh cilantro, sliced jalapeños, green onions

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or sturdy whisk, beat the cream cheese until it’s smooth and spreadable.
  2. Add the salsa to the whipped cream cheese. Fold gently with a spatula until the salsa is just incorporated—you want to maintain some of the salsa’s texture rather than creating a completely homogenous mixture.
  3. Fold in the shredded Mexican blend cheese, reserving a small handful for garnish if desired. Transfer your Cream Cheese Salsa Dip to a serving bowl and top with remaining cheese and any optional garnishes. The dip is now ready to serve immediately with tortilla chips, vegetable sticks, or crackers.

Notes

For best flavor, let the dip sit for 15-20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. The texture will be creamier and the salsa flavors will permeate the cream cheese more thoroughly.
