- Cream cheese 8 OZ (1 box) of cream cheese is full-fat and softened. This produces a rich texture that holds everything together and gives it a rich flavor.
- Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups hard cheddar cheese. This makes the spread melt wonderfully and adds a wonderful flavor.
- The ranch seasoning: One packet of Ranch seasoning mix (about 1 2 oz), two tablespoons of ranch seasoning mix made from scratch. This ingredient gives an effervescent, herby taste.
- Bacon 6 slices of bacon that have been cooked and crumbled. Bacon is a delicious crunch that enhances the overall flavor and texture.
- The green onion two to three green onions chopped. They impart a fresh and mild taste and add color to the dip.

Instructions
Making a cracker chicken dip is easy. Follow these steps to make the perfect, tasty dip for your guests:
Start cooking chicken, making sure it is cooked. You can cook boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs according to your preferences. Bake, boil or cook them in the slow cooker. When the chicken is cooked, shred it into bite-sized pieces with 2 forks or a hand mixer for faster shredding.
Mix the chicken shreds, softened cream cheese, ranch spice mix, and sour cream (if you are using it). Mix all ingredients until thoroughly incorporated.
Then, fold in the bacon that has been cooked and crumbled and cheddar cheese shredded. Stir it all together until the cheese infuses into the mix, creating the perfect, creamy dip.
Place the mix in a baking dish coated with oil and evenly spread it. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for approximately twenty minutes, or till the dip has a bubbling appearance and the top becomes crisp and golden.
Once the dip is out of the oven and baked, top the dip with chopping green onions to add color and flavor. Serve warm with favorite dip items, like cookies, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
