Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced (rotisserie works great)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or low-carb optional)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (if cooking chicken)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce, jalapeños, or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. If starting with raw chicken, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook in a skillet with olive oil for 6–7 minutes per side until 165°F internal temp. Let rest, then slice or shred.
  2. Warm tortillas briefly in a skillet, microwave, or oven to prevent cracking.
  3. Lay each tortilla flat and spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing (or yogurt) in the center.
  4. Add about 1/2 cup chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and avocado. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold the sides in, then roll from the bottom up to form a wrap. Slice in half if desired.
  6. Optional: Warm the completed wrap in a skillet or panini press for 1–2 minutes to seal and melt the cheese.

Notes

Swap out chicken for turkey, tofu, or beans for variation. Keep ingredients stored separately for meal prep. Use lettuce wraps or gluten-free tortillas for dietary needs. Add tortilla strips or crushed chips for crunch.
